Indoor session followed by small group field sessions.
  • 10:45 - 12:15 Urban Trees and the Law with Tom Brady, Tree Warden of Brookline, MA
Sooner or later, one of your clients will have a legal dilemma involving a tree. In both public and private settings, trees are often a contentious issue. Join us as we review core legal principles arborists should be mindful of when working on trees and shrubs. Tom Brady, MCA, MQTW will lead the discussion. After 35 years in business and 25 years as a public official, Tom has encountered all manners of tree-related legal issues. In his various roles, he has been called upon to consult, testify, and mediate disputes. Brush up on tree law guidelines, learn to analyze situations, and gain knowledge from your colleagues’ experiences in this participatory session."
