GadgetsGadgets are the building blocks of Wild Apricot site pages. Each page consists of one or more gadgets arranged within page-specific layouts or theme-specific placeholders. The title at the top of this gadget was formatted using Heading 5 from the theme’s text styles. Colors and stylesYou can adjust the colors of most theme content through the Colors and Styles screen. You can select colors for the backgrounds of gadget titles and content areas, as well as the color of buttons and text. You can also select fonts for gadget headings, body text, and text styles. Gadget settingsYou can control the appearance and behavior of a gadget using its settings. For many gadgets, you can use the gadget settings to specify a gadget title and gadget style, and for content gadgets, you can specify a background color or image. |
Special items in this themeNew gadget - Secondary menuThis menu gadget allows you to create a secondary menu – consisting of internal or external links – that supplements your main site menu. You can specify the link names and destinations, choose a vertical or horizontal orientation, and select from a list of menu styles. Sticky placeholdersWe have added a special placeholder that you can use within a page template to create a non-scrolling area at the top of your page. Within this "sticky" placeholder, you can place any content, including your site menu. Any content positioned within this placeholder will stay at the top of the page as you scroll through the rest of the page.To identify the sticky placeholder within this theme, begin editing a page template and look for the placeholder with an HTML ID field value of id_Header2 within the Advanced settings section. Note: The sticky behavior is disabled within admin view, and can only be seen in public view.
